Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has made new announcements for Shiba Inu (SHIB) and two altcoins. According to the announcements, withdrawals and deposits on the Elrond (EGLD) network will be temporarily suspended; Stellar Lumens (XLM) network update is supported. In addition, the exchange announced that a certain amount of SHIB will be awarded as a reward.
Binance supports Stellar Lumens (XLM) network updates
Binance’s first announcement concerned XLM, one of the oldest cryptocurrencies. The Stellar Lumens update will take place on June 8th, 2022 at approximately 18:00 UK time. XLM deposits and withdrawals are expected to begin on the 17th. Currently, Binance says XLM trading will not be affected during the network update. “Binance will comply with all relevant technical requirements for all users who have XLM on their accounts,” the exchange says. Binance will restart XLM withdrawals and deposits when they believe the updated network is stable.
